What a privilege it is to come to this new country and have such great family and friends become a part of our lives! We couldn't do it without them. And we absolutely love them from the bottom of our hearts & thank God - "Gracias a Dios" - for them every day.

At The Lodge, we recognize the importance of working in harmony with the environment, understanding that every action counts. Our main goal is to develop sustainable tourism that allows current and future generations to enjoy our rich natural biodiversity.
We implement several sustainable practices, such as water conservation, using only rainwater and natural spring water at the ranch. Our interconnected system collects rainwater and filters it for use in cabins. We also separate solid waste, recycling through a company in Turrialba.
We grow organic products free from agrochemicals for our consumption and our clients, showcasing the freshness of our vegetables. Additionally, we promote electricity conservation with reminders in our facilities and are producing our own charcoal from local trees to cook without gas.
Protecting our forests is essential. We have recorded a diverse range of wildlife, including endangered species like pumas and ocelots, through camera traps.
